Watching While Reclining: Set the Viewing Position Before You Pin the Screen

In a firsthand entertainment comparison, TechRadar's reviewer describes enjoying display glasses while lying down. That is a particular use case, not evidence that every spatial mode will place a screen comfortably at every angle. The article compares products in its own review context; Lensden has not reproduced the experience.
Reclining exposes a distinction that can be easy to miss at a desk. A screen that follows head orientation and one that remains anchored are different behaviours. Changing body position after anchoring can leave the image somewhere inconvenient even though the connection still works.
Start with the supported mode
XREAL's One-series guide describes Anchor and Follow modes for its supported models. Consult the exact model's instructions before copying a button sequence. Beam, Beam Pro, built-in glasses processing and an optional positional-tracking accessory are not interchangeable descriptions of the same system.
Choose a stationary, comfortable viewing position while awake. Keep the source and any powered converter ventilated and the cable free of strain. Then use the documented recenter or mode selection for that setup. Do not hold the frame against a pillow or trap the cable to keep an image in position.
Test the actual viewing task
Check subtitles, playback controls and the bottom of the image, not just the centre of a film. Try the intended arrangement briefly before committing to a long session. A frame that fits at a desk may contact the wearer or bedding differently when reclining.
If a mode recentres unexpectedly or refuses the desired angle, record the exact mode, accessory and software version. Do not assume the software's “screen distance” number describes a physically adjustable focal plane. A mode name alone also does not establish six-degree positional tracking.
Keep the arrangement easy to leave
Place the source and controls where they can be reached without pulling the glasses cable. Be able to remove the glasses promptly and see the surrounding space. Avoid treating a reclining entertainment setup as permission to use immersive viewing while walking, driving or doing another task requiring unobstructed attention.
If the intended position remains unavailable, ask the manufacturer whether it is supported before buying more hardware.
